PRESSED-sident Arroyo
For a week, I have noticed that everyone is talking about the ZTE broadband issue. I don't know why they keep on focusing on this topic since this is not the first time that PRESIDENT Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo (naka boldface kasi for me, she's our president) became glued with a scandalous act.You can say that I'm a pro-PGMA, but I'm not. I am just on a practical side. If PGMA would be impeached from her position, who will sit as president? Trillanes? ('di marunong!) Erap? (undeniably poor-headed) de Castro? (kulang pa si Noli) I guess there's no one better than PGMA with the line-up of "wanna bes" we have in the government.
LOST-zada
Jun Lozada, the considered hero... For me, Lozada and PGMA still share the same blood, including Abalos. Let's accept the fact that they are corrupt. Yes, indeed they are! Lozada admitted that he will receive a share on that ZTE deal. But he said that Abalos' "jack-up" was too big. According to him, that amount shattered his conscience. BANG! If he has this so called "CONSCIENCE", he would have never engaged into corruption in the first place. The fact that he stole money before makes him a thief of our money---the Filipino people's money! Therefore, he is no different from Abalos, PGMA or whoever sits in that dirty throne in politics. The GAME of FOOLY-tics
Way back in 2006, I can remember when I was still taking a major subject in mass communication about the "psychology of commercial audience. We were taught to analyze consumer behavior. In that way, we would be able to know our market and probably succeed on our interests. Applying those theories that I have learned from that subject, I can say that Lozada is the puppet being manipulated by someone who's craving to put PGMA down. He was a member of the group who'll arrange the ZTE Broadband deal and probably dive into a bucket of money after the negotiations. But look at what happened, he turned around and embraced his mistakes trying wash his hands from the blood they got when they started that deal. Look at him now, a hero standing proud to say he is the key to free the Filipinos from the bondage of corruption! What a joke! I guess the offer was bigger than the money he can pocket from the deal that is why he jumped from another fence and did everything to destroy the other boundary. Clever!! Not Jun Lozada of course. The one behind Lozada's turning point was the one who plays the game after all... and us, just puppets! Puppets who violently act without thinking because probably, the strings attached to us are now being pulled slightly. Lucky for me I got those strings cut off.
